Please call the nursery should your child be absent due to illness.
Parents/carers must complete an Administration of Medication form before any medicine will be given in the nursery. Nursery staff can and will only administer medication if it has been prescribed for the child. The child’s name, name of medicine, dosage and expiry date MUST be clearly stated on the label. Parent/carer must administer the 1st dose of medication before the child can be given medicine at nursery.
If your child has any sickness or diarrhoea they should refrain from nursery until they are clear of any symptoms for a period of 48 hours. If your child is unwell whilst at nursery we will contact you by telephone. All contact numbers MUST be kept up to date for parent/carers and stated emergency contacts as it is essential we can contact someone in the event of an emergency or if your child is unwell.
