Settling in Policy

Your initial visit at nursery will involve completing the relevant enrolment paperwork and meeting with your child’s Key Worker and other members of staff who will be responsible for your child’s care. Thereafter, the Key Worker will arrange times for your child to settle into nursery. There is no set time limit on the settling in period, as it very much depends on the individuality of each child.

Keyworker

This person/people will help settle your child and initially be your first point of contact. It may not always be possible to speak to them but any other staff member in the playroom will be happy to help you in any matters regarding your child.

Please feel free to speak to your child’s keyworker(s) or any member of staff at any time. We are here to support you and your child during the transition from home to nursery. The more information you can share with us to support your child’s needs the better. We are here to help.
